Our weather station network is unique to North East Victoria - You can see real time data of what the weather is doing over 6 locations. TAFCO uses nextG technology to transmit data every 10-15 minutes, so occasionally there may be time lags if the network is temporarily unavailable.

AVPMA – Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority
The APVMA is an Australian government statutory authority established in 1993 to centralise the registration of all agricultural and veterinary chemical products into the Australian marketplace. Previously each State and Territory government had its own system of registration (eg insecticide, fungicide or herbicide).
Public Chemical Registration Information System Search
This site is a database of ALL agricultural and veterinary chemical products which are registered for use in Australia. Data includes the product name, registering company, active constituents and product category.
Once you locate a product in PUBCRIS, in most cases, you will also be able to see a copy of the product's label. MSDS's are available from Manufacturers websites.
Alpine Valleys Vignerons
The Alpine Valleys wine region in North East Victoria is Australia's newest and highest wine-producing district. Renowned for unique cool climate wines, the region was officially launched by former Deputy Prime Minister, Tim Fischer, on October 7, 2000. As Mr Fischer said at the launch, the Alpine Valleys produce high-quality wine, or in his words "Altitude with Attitude".

The constant interchange of ideas amongst its members and willingness to adopt new world technologies has been a major factor in the very high standard of viticulture being practiced in the region.
Chestnuts Australiais dedicated to the growth of the Chestnut Industry through Grower Education, Promotion, Research and the sharing of information. The Association aims to assist members with first hand information on the growing, harvesting and marketing of chestnuts.
We aim to achieve these objectives through annual and special meetings, conferences, field days, and farm walks. Personal contact with other members at these and less structured functions are also very important.
The Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) is the largest state farmer organisation in Australia, representing over 10,000 members who live and work on more than 6,000 farm businesses situated across Victoria. TAFCO operates a Branch of the Victorian Farmers Federation within the Horticulture Group. TAFCO members have the opportunity to be part of the VFF either through the TAFCO Horticulture Branch or the many commodity groups and branches throughout the State.
The VFF have a range of memberships available from Commercial and Intensive Farming Membership to the recently introduced Small & Lifestyle Farming Memberships, Young Farmer, Retired Farmer and Farm Manager Memberships.
Goulburn Murray Water manages water storage, delivery and drainage systems involving 70% of Victoria's stored water. TAFCO members are based in the Ovens and Kiewa Basins which are predominantly unregulated systems with small catchment dams on the Buffalo and King Rivers.
